What I do at The Grove?
Oversee the operations of all Health & Wellness activities at The Grove. Designed the new state of the art fitness facility within the (soon to open) Manor House. Assist new members with orientation of the fitness facility and help set up members with fitness classes, personal training, program design, or nutritional plans.
How do I approach my job?
First and foremost when a member comes to me for fitness guidance I truly want to serve their needs, desires, and goals. Myself and my assistant Kim Whittaker approach each personal training client differently because everyone has a different body and has different goals. A golfer requires flexibility in the correct areas, someone coming off an injury requires a safe progression of exercises, the tennis player or equestrian athlete requires an even different program.
What do I love about my job?
First of all I love the team of people that we have working at The Grove, it makes coming to work a real pleasure every day. The fact that I specialize in training golfers has made working at The Grove a perfect fit for me. We also have such a wide variety of facilities indoor and out where we make fitness and fun come together. The movement studio in the Sports Centre, the new state of the art fitness center in the Manor House, tennis courts, walking trails, pool fitness classes, yoga outside by the pool, TRX class by the pool. We are all about the beauty of the grounds at the Grove and take advantage of getting our members outside and active. My goal is to make the Grove the healthiest community in the state of TN.
