We are thrilled to share the exciting news that two of the zoned schools for The Grove, Page High and College Grove Elementary, have been recognized as Reward Schools for the 2022-2023 academic year by the Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE).
A remarkable achievement for both schools, the recognition places them among the 31 schools in Williamson County Schools (WCS) to receive this prestigious title, setting a new record for the district. This accomplishment builds on the success of the previous school year when 29 schools in Williamson County were recognized as Reward Schools.
Reward Schools are distinguished as some of the highest-performing institutions in the state, and the criteria for this recognition are rigorous. A school must achieve an overall score of 3.1 or higher, as per the federal accountability calculation. This assessment considers various factors, including achievement, growth, chronic absenteeism rates, and English language proficiency. Additionally, at the high school level, graduation rates and Ready Graduate rates are considered.
On behalf of the entire Grove Community, we congratulate Page High and College Grove Elementary for achieving this significant milestone. We look forward to witnessing these outstanding schools’ continued success and growth as they inspire and shape the future leaders of our community. The Grove is honored to be associated with such exceptional educational institutions, and we celebrate this achievement with great enthusiasm and pride.
The Grove community is not only a picturesque and idyllic community but also a place where educational excellence thrives. With the recent recognition of Page High and College Grove Elementary as Reward Schools for the 2022-2023 academic year, our residents can take pride in being part of a community surrounded by institutions committed to providing top-notch education.
