Homeowner Spotlight, Part 2

Amenities:

Now I have never been one for gated, private communities but man did The Grove turn my head on that instantly. Driving up Arno Road the impression of the homes and property is an amazing site, the homes are off the main road separated by beautiful fencing and grounds that are meticulously taken care of, my initial impression of gated communities was turned from a negative to an instant positive. Once you turn into the community you are greeted by the beautiful welcome center, General Store, and Manor House. As we parked at the Welcome Center you look over your shoulder to see the beautiful pool with amazing treehouse waterslide which of course the kids couldn’t wait to ask when they could use!

What we loved the most were the Amenities that are available not only to our kids, who by the way would have their own kids club the “Discovery Club” that does all these fun activities including Tennis, Golf, Art & Crafts and even movie nights. But my husband and I loved the options that were afforded to us by becoming members of the club with Golf, Tennis and especially the Rosemary Spa!

And for our 4-legged friend Sonny, The Grove has a partnership with the amazing Jaeckle Centre which is a premier equine facility that is meticulously kept and cared for by their staff. Having this only 5 minutes up the road really got us excited. For those of you who don’t have horses but still love them, The Grove actually has a pasture on grounds where horses roam free and people can go and visit the amazing friendly horses that are kindly trimming the grass.

Community:

As if the amenities that are available aren’t enough, The Grove really sold us on the sense of community. As we toured the available lots and homes that were open we were greeted by staff and residents who were out and about the property. We saw kids down by the pond fishing and playing baseball – which reminded me of a scene out of a movie. The idea that I could go with a neighbor to take a yoga or boot camp class or relax at the Manor Club with a glass of wine with my husband while the kids are at movie night with the kids Discovery Club really sealed the deal for us.

The Grove’s Charitable Efforts

We also were very impressed by The Grove’s commitment to the areas different charities. We learned that in 2016 they had charitable events such as Honor the Fallen 5K and the Southern Living Custom Builder Home Event which directly benefited our military vets; Golf Invitational events that benefit local animal shelters and MS Societies which allowed them to donate over $73,000 to charities in just 2016 alone.

If you can’t tell already The Grove had me sold! From the minute we drove in and entered the property my husband and I were impressed and immediately had that feeling of ‘home’, that feeling that this is where we want to raise our family. So at the end of this month, I am proud to say we will be moving into our new home at an amazing community and happy to call The Grove HOME.
