The Grove to Host NCAA Regional – May 1417, 2017
The Grove will host the 2017 Men’s Eastern Golf Regional on May 14-17 (Sunday throughWednesday). The Grove was chosen by the NCAA to be one of the six host facilities nationwide, along with The University Club in Baton Rouge, LA, The Kampen Course in West Lafayette, IN, Stanford Golf Course in Stanford, CA, UT Golf Club in Austin, TX and Aldarra Golf Club in Sammamish, WA. The top 5 team qualifiers and one individual qualifier from each of the six Regionals will move on to compete in the National Championship to be hosted at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, IL on May 26 -31.
The Eastern Regional at The Grove will be comprised of the following teams by seed – (1) Vanderbilt, (2) Texas Tech, (3) Clemson, (4) Georgia, (5) Missouri, (6) Lipscomb, (7) Kennesaw State, (8) UCF, (9) MTSU, (10) TCU, (11) Troy, (12) East Tennessee State and (13) Harvard.
Grove Members are invited to participate as spectators during this event and are guaranteed to see some future stars of the PGA Tour. Spectators are required to walk, as NCAA Rules do not allow for spectator carts on the golf course, with the exception of special circumstances to be approved by the NCAA Competition Committee.
As we host this event, certain areas of the club operations will be affected. Security will be monitoring parking at The Manor House. Should you wish to come out to spectate or use club amenities, simply identify yourself as a Grove Member and access to Manor House parking will be granted.
