Longer, warmer days makes an already great city even better with all the amazing outdoor activities.
Here are our some of our favorites outdoor activities around town:
Nashville’s best-known reservoir has become the place to stand-up paddleboard (SUP). Have you tried this sport yet? It’s well worth it if you haven’t!
The Belle Meade neighborhood is known for the large mansions and of course Nashville 55-acre botanical garden.
On the edge of Radnor Lake State Park, you will find Dyer Observatory, which is a historic monument. The observatory hosts science camps for kids and telescope viewing nights. During the summer months, the observatory partners with the famous Bluebird Café to bring 6 concerts called “Bluebird on the Mountain” to the observatory.
“From serene to extreme!” – Nashville Shores is a waterpark and treetop adventure park all in one! Their family friendly waterpark is great for cooling off on hot summer days. Plunge down one of their 8 waterslides for the ones who love adventure or leisurely float down the lazy river for peace and relaxation!
Take in beautiful scenery while getting some exercise! Who doesn’t love to enjoy the great outdoors on a bike?
Where sophistication meets the outdoors! Arrington Vineyard provides award-winning wine selections, beautiful scenery, and dazzling vineyard views. Visit for a day or set up a private event for all of your friends and family to enjoy!
