Conveniently located off Eudaily-Covington Road adjacent to The Grove community, The Covington Cottage Guesthouse offers a quaint retreat for Member guests.
The History
This historic home built in 1911 was proudly owned by the Covington family of College Grove for generations. The farmland, which surrounded this quaint cottage at one time, belonged to the family for centuries and was worked to harvest all the usual crops. Dairy cows, up to 20,000 laying hens and herds of beef cattle roamed the grounds until eventually the majority of the farmland surrounding the house and lawn was sold for development.
Family needs and modern conveniences shaped the transformations of the home over the years, with several additions being added to the original cottage. The Grove acquired the Covington family home and property in 2019 from Ruby Covington. The Cottage has been carefully restored to maintain the dignity of the original structure. Many of the family’s antiques, rugs and fixtures add to the charm and character of the historic Cottage.

The Covington Cottage can comfortably sleep up to four guests in its two-bedrooms, one king bed and one queen, with one full bath to share.
