Dear Members, It is with a great pleasure that we announce the hiring of Joe Kennedy as the new Director of Agronomy at The Grove. Joe will also oversee the grounds maintenance of the Community through the HOA.  Joe, and his wife Robin, were two of the first people Cindy and I met when we originally moved to Nashville in the early ’90’s to develop the Legends Club of Tennessee. Joe and Robin are also dear friends with Mike and Melody Green. More importantly, Joe is widely recognized as the finest “Grass Expert” in the State of Tennessee. He has for years been the consultant to the Titans, Vanderbilt University and numerous golf courses in the area for their turf needs. When asked last week whom we should hire, another superintendent at one of the best Clubs in the southeast told me “Joe Kennedy is the most knowledgeable turf expert in the Southeast and if you can get him, he would be the best person you could possibly hire.” Joe will take over the operation effective July 9th. Until then he will work closely with Head Golf Course Superintendent Scott Cole and HOA Grounds Manager Phil Pressotto to be sure the condition of the golf course and the community are maintained at the highest level.
