Ten professional golfers from the Web.com Tour, a development tour for the PGA Tour, will compete in a Future Stars Shootout on The Grove’s premier golf course on Tuesday, June 14. The public is invited to attend.
Included on the roster are Steven Fox of Hendersonville, Tenn., University of Tennessee-Chattanooga alumnus and 2012 U.S. Amateur Championship winner Jason Millard of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Middle Tennessee State University alumnus and 2016 Tennessee State Open winner; Chas Narramore of Kingston, Tenn., Middle Tennessee State University alumnus; Hunter Stewart of Lexington, Ky., Vanderbilt University alumnus; Stephan Jaeger of Munich, Germany, University of Tennessee-Chattanooga alumnus; Keith Mitchell of Chattanooga, Tenn., University of Georgia alumnus; Trey Mullinax of Birmingham, Ala., University of Alabama alumnus; Jonathan Randolph of Brandon, Miss., University of Mississippi alumnus; Mark Silvers of Savannah, Ga., University of South Carolina alumnus; and Josh Teater of Danville, Ky., Morehead State University alumnus.
Millard, Narramore and Stewart are members of The Grove’s Rewards Program, an invitation-only agreement with the Tennessee Golf Foundation, where The Grove offers a home course and training facilities for young golfers to hone their skills and support one another on their way toward national ranking.
Schedule of events (open to the public):
• 2 p.m.: Junior Clinic
The pros share tips with junior league and youth players.
• 3-6:30 p.m.: 9-Hole Shootout
Ten players will compete in a shootout competition. At 6:30, players will participate in the “Closest to the Hole” competition from the Manor House to the 18th green.
• 6-8 p.m.: Player Meet and Greet
Join us for a player meet and greet with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails.
