This year we have seen our residents and club staff come together when they were needed most, to find new ways to keep us all connected and enjoying the amenity rich lifestyle that The Grove is known for. Our ability to continue to deliver a world-class lifestyle experience has allowed us to once again have another year of record-breaking sales at The Grove.
Interest and sales at The Grove continue to be pacing at record numbers. We have had over 180 sales of custom homes and estate homesites in 2020. This surge in custom home purchasing activity has opened up the opportunity for our Signature Builders to release more inventory.
Early this year our next phase of homesites in The Grove, The Overlook was unveiled. This collection of homesites is perched at the highest elevation in the community with spectacular long-range views of the beautiful rolling hillsides, the 16th green of the golf course, and creek and wooded settings. The Overlook includes 54 homesites and approximately half have sold since the release in February.
We have also expanded our mix of our exceptional offerings! The Gathering Place & Bridge Bar at Magnolia Park is our newest amenity center. The Bridge Bar is the centerpiece of the Gathering Place as a family-friendly sports bar with indoor/outdoor dining, games and TV’s. In addition, a 25-meter competition swimming pool, tennis/pickleball courts and kids’ playground round out the experience.
We also unveiled our new state-of-the-art golf facility that will be home to the Middle Tennessee State University Men’s Golf Team. The $1 million, 3,851 square-foot project is expected to be completed by the end of the year. The new facility features three indoor hitting bays as well as an indoor putting green with multiple slope changes. Two of the indoor hitting bays will include TrackMan simulator studios featuring more than 90 different courses that can be played virtually. Other features include a players lounge, locker rooms, coaches offices, storage facilities, training facilities and a study area.
