The Grover Charity Golf Event, Concert and Dinner raised over $100,000 to support the continued efforts of community nonprofits Agape Animal Rescue, Williamson County Animal Center, and The First Tee of Middle Tennessee.

The Grover Concert, Silent Auction and Dinner

Excitement filled the air as people began to arrive via trolley to the Manor House in anticipation of The Grover concert featuring performances from Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson, Steve Cropper, and Lee Brice, as well as performances from songwriters Kelley Lovelace and Neil Thrasher.

A plethora of unique items including a signed guitar from Carrie Underwood and signed hockey stick from former Nashville Predator, Mike Fisher were auctioned off to the highest (silent) bidder. Other items included in the auction were a signed pin flag from the 2017 Masters Champion, Sergio Garcia, signed Vince Gill lyrics, a signed football helmet from Tennessee Titans Quarterback Marcus Mariotta, and much more!

Folks browsed the silent auction items while enjoying a dinner and cocktails on the Manor House lanai overlooking the concert stage. As stars began to take their place among the night sky our musical guests took to the stage and guests enjoyed songs from some of the biggest names in country music.

The Grover Golf Tournament

The Grover Golf Tournament began the next morning as 25 teams of 4 teed it up on our course for prizes and bragging rights, but most importantly to support our community partners Agape Animal Rescue, Williamson County Animal Center and The First Tee of Middle Tennessee. Following the tournament, participants gathered on the Manor House back porch for an awards ceremony and cocktails.

Raising Money for Great Causes

We are proud to announce that we have exceeded our goal of $100,000 in funds to be divided between our community partners. These funds will go towards various initiatives such as providing college scholarships and finding homes for abandoned cats and dogs in our community.

On behalf of everyone at The Grove, we would like to thank our sponsor, The Jaeckle Centre, as well as all those who contributed to our silent auction, and our musical guests Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson, Steve Cropper, Lee Brice, Kelley Lovelace and Neil Thrasher.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the hard work of so many. The outpouring of support we have received during this event speaks to the strength of our local community and we look forward to continuing our tradition of giving back during future events at The Grove.
