The Grove is proud to have partnered with local charities, Agape Animal Rescue and the First Tee of Middle Tennessee to raise thousands of dollars to help children and animals in our area.

The Grove presented the money to Agape Animal Rescue and First Tee on Thursday morning, February 18th.

Agape started a puppy program last year that is dedicated to saving pregnant dogs and orphaned pups ages six months and under.

“This money to us means we can save more lives,” said Tanya Willis, Executive Director of Agape. “We found that puppies are being euthanized at an alarming rate in middle Tennessee and so we wanted to do something about it.”

Close to $24,000 was raised for the animal rescue, and First Tee received nearly $21,000. That organization teaches kids both golf and important life skills.
