Travel and Leisure Magazine ranks Nashville as the best live music scene in the world. With over 120 live music venues, and some of the hottest special events, festivals, concerts and parties anywhere, it’s easy to see why Nashville tops the state in tourism with 14.5 million visitors.

While music remains the heart and soul of Nashville, Vanderbilt University claims its rightful place as the intellectual center of the city, attracting top students and faculty from throughout the world. The Vanderbilt Medical Center is a nearly $9 billion economic engine and its healthcare network is the nation’s fastest-growing system with 40 hospitals across four states.
