Dear Golf Members:
The Stampede 2018, our annual men’s Member-Guest golf event, will be held on Thursday, June 28th through Saturday, June 30th, 2018.
Entry Fee: $800 per team (includes practice round and fish fry, tournament rounds, Casino Night, player favors, breakfast and lunch, on-course beverages and team prizes).
Event Format: The Stampede will be Round Robin Four-Ball Match Play format. Flights will be created with 6 teams per flight. Each team will play five separate nine-hole matches against the other teams in their respective flights to accumulate as many points as possible. Upon completion of matches, all flight winners will compete in the final shootout to determine the overall champions. Players will receive 80% of their Grove home course handicap. The player with the lowest handicap will be reduced to zero and the other player’s handicaps in each match will be adjusted accordingly.
Prizes will be given for Gross and Net Divisions along with on-course skills contests.
