Spa Series – From the Memory Books (1 of 4)

I wouldn’t categorize myself as a novice spa-goer, but I am in no way a regular attendee either. It is not because I don’t love the experience, who wouldn’t, it has more to do with my jaded view of what a true spa experience should be. The spas that have left an indelible impression on me are few and far between. The few memorable experiences have been acquired at luxury resorts during my travels. I have tried to recapture that blissful tranquility in my hometown. Sadly, the local spas I have tried have disappointed me time and time again. If you have ever left a spa treatment without feeling totally relaxed, rejuvenated and no results to show for it, you know exactly how I feel.

My recent experience at The Grove’s  Rosemary Spa reminded me of what I have been missing. From the moment I arrived, I could tell my experience would be one for the memory books. The spa environment was tranquil, comfortable, yet elegant at the same time; the entire staff was warm, friendly and eager to please.

In this 4-part blog series I’ll share my spa experience—get to know the therapists, learn a little about their treatments, philosophy, what makes The Rosemary so unique, and just as I have, rediscover what a truly fantastic spa experience is.
